Marie Curie Cancer Care

Can you help us at our Summer 2021 Events?

Here at Marie Curie Surrey we are lucky enough to be partnered with some fantastic events that are going ahead this summer, with all COVID safety rules in place. However we really some volunteer support to maximise the opportunities I would really love if you could be part of the team. There are some great perks with free tickets included so you can bring your family and friends along to enjoy the day as well.

Please do respond via clicking on the "Fill in an Application" button if you are able to help with any of the events below and I will be able to share more information.  If you have friends or family who would like to volunteer with you at these events then they are more than welcome, I’ll just need names and contact details. The Legends Festival especially is due to be a lot of fun, and they’ll be plenty of time for you to bring a picnic and have a dance!

Mission Statement

Marie Curie Nurses are available in every village, town and city throughout the UK, caring for terminally ill patients who wish to die in comfortable and familiar surroundings at home with their families. Last year in Surrey, our nurses worked over 10,000 hours, through the night and day, caring for many local people. This comes at a cost to the charity of £20 for each hour a Marie Curie Nurse is in the home. This is why collections are so important to us.
