Ward Clerk

We are currently seeking volunteer Ward Clarks at our temporary In-Patient Unit in Camberley.

This role provides invaluable support to the Ward Administrator and In-Patient Unit team: answering the telephone, directing calls and taking messages, basic administrative tasks and meeting and greeting patient relatives.

Completion of an on-line application form, attendance of one day in hospice training, Disclosure and Barring Service Clearance, required prior to starting.

The ward clerk volunteers provide support on a shift basis: 8am - 12pm, 12pm - 4pm and 4pm - 8pm, seven days a week. Volunteers commit to either a weekly or alternate weekly shift, or join as a 'reserve' picking up free shifts ad-hoc.

The minimum age for this role is sixteen.
