Trustee
We are looking for new trustees to join our Board as it leads the charity into a new era of growth and influence.
We are seeking to appoint up to four additional trustees with either:
Finance and Treasury skills, or
Legal Skills, or
PR, Social Media and/or Fundraising skills, or
Knowledge and experience of the voluntary sector in Surrey.
We would like to recruit candidates with the skills above but we would also love to hear from anyone who has enthusiasm and a commitment to improving wellbeing through creativity.
As a Trustee you will:
· Ensure that Creative Response has a clear vision, mission and strategic direction and is focused on achieving these.
· Assist the Chair and the Chief Executive Officer in ensuring the Board of Trustees fulfils its duties and responsibilities for the proper governance of the charity
· Help support and steer the charity through its continued development
Mission Statement
Creative Response is a small local charity offering arts-based workshops for people experiencing mental health, learning and physical difficulties.
In our central Farnham studio, practising artists work collaboratively with members from across Surrey and surrounding areas, guiding and facilitating the creation of paintings, drawings, sculpture and ceramics.
We are passionate advocates of the benefits of the arts for mental health and well-being, and our team are proud to have been serving the community for over 25 years.
