The Volunteer Driver is an integral member of the Hospice team. Volunteers under the supervision of the Transport Coordinator with responsibility for driving patients to and from The Beacon Site, Guildford, play a part in improving the quality of life and sense of well-being of patients.

Volunteer Drivers will need their own transport and a full driving licence. Travel expenses are paid.

Most drivers volunteer one day a week or for half a day, but this is flexible.
