Coordination Group Member (with or without portofolio)
The Coordinating Group is there to ensure that the services and activities provided by the group reflect the MS Society's charitable objects, and that all MS Society funds and assets under its control are used solely for this purpose.
As a Coordination Group member you may also hold another volunteer role ('with portfolio') - in which case you don't need to apply again, just let us know at the interview for your preferred role - or you may just be a member of the Coordination Group meeting. The aim is to use your personal or business experience to discuss the Group's options and support best decision-making.
Meetings are currently held 4-6 times a year, usually on a Wednesday evening via Zoom though they are sometimes face-to-face. While it's not necessary to attend every meeting, it helps with consistent decision-making if attendees are familiar with the Group's local aims and objectives - and it's important that there are enough people at each Coordination Group meeting to validate decisions.
