Trustees (Treasurer and Fundraising)
We are looking for new Trustees to join our experienced and dedicated board. In particular we are looking for a new Treasurer and someone with Fundraising expertise. All of our Trustees must have empathy to our cause and a willingness to use their skills to help develop the overall vision, strategy and impact of Your Sanctuary. As well as some initial training, you need to be able to commit to six half day board meetings each year (on Saturdays) and one 'away day' in the Woking area. You will also need to provide support and advice on an ad hoc basis when your area of expertise is required. Mission Statement
yourSanctuary works to prevent domestic abuse and undo the damage it causes to individuals, families and communities. We provide direct services to women, men and children affected by domestic abuse as well as prevention, advocacy and education programmes. Our clients come from diverse communities, sexual orientations, religions, ethnicities, socio-economic and age groups.
