Newman Holiday Trust - South Holiday

Holiday Volunteer - Friday 27th July-Saturday 4th August

The Newman Holiday Trust - South Holiday @ St. Dominic's School

About: We provide a week-long residential holiday for approximately 22 children with disabilities and special needs from St. Dominic's School in Godalming.

The holiday is entirely run and organised by volunteers and a packed timetable of onsite activities and day trips helps us to deliver a fun and life changing holiday for the children in a safe and supportive environment. Activities can include theme park and cinema trips, swimming, horse riding, bouncy castles, magic and talent shows, discos and much more. All activities are built around the needs and interests of the children attending the holiday. You can find out more about the holidays here:

As a volunteer you will be staying onsite all week with the children. All NHT volunteers are amazing people who come from a variety of backgrounds and with mixed levels of experience. As a new volunteer you will receive training at the beginning of the week as well as ongoing support from the holiday organisers and wider helper group. You will be paired with a child based on your experience and interests.

Being a volunteer helper on a Newman Trust holiday is a wonderfully rewarding experience. You will enable deserving children to have a holiday of a lifetime and contribute to a unique experience for all involved. More information on the volunteer role and responsibilities can be found here:

Dates: Friday 27 July (from 6pm) to Saturday 4th August
