Tech to Community Connect Delivery Driver - Guildford

SCDP are supplying tech devices to residents who are disabled, have mental health illness, or have a caring responsibility. Some require dedicated support but many simply require a device to enable better communication and to alleviate loneliness and isolation.

We are looking for volunteer drivers to deliver the tech devices to our clients in the community.

Ideally committing to volunteering a few hours each week - typically 5-10 deliveries per week.

Collection of devices will be from our offices in Burpham, Guildford for distribution to agreed addresses in the local area.

Volunteers require use of their own vehicle and will be reimbursed mileage expenses of £0.45/mile.

Induction training will be provided alongside regular volunteer support meetings.

Driving licence and vehicle required. Understanding of Covid 19 PPE essential. Enhanced DBS will be a requirement.
