Membership coordinator and event organiser
We are looking for two outgoing volunteers to help us to develop our membership and to assist in organising various events during the year. The role involves regular contact with members and greeting both new and potential members at our events. In addition to good communication skills you will need to be organised when making detailed arrangements for events.
Farnham Timebank is based in The Bungalow Community Centre in Upper Hale and holds events in and around Farnham. The Timebank is a new way to enable people to help in their community, to meet people and to swap skills. Our members give an hour of their time using one their own skills and can get an hour back anytime from another member who can offer them another skill. The exchanges are very wide ranging, from dog walking to DIY to cake making.

Timebanking is a way for people to come together to help others and help themselves at the same times. Participants 'deposit' their time in the Time Bank by giving practical help and support to others and are able to withdraw their time when they need something done themselves.
Timebanking is open to people of all ages, abilities, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
