Digital Buddy Role at Cranleigh Library
This role allows you to use your interest in technology to support library customers with their digital access. Whilst you may occasionally be involved with group sessions in the library, Digital Buddies regularly work on a one-to-one basis with individuals who book a session at one of our libraries. In these sessions, you might help with a specific basic IT task, such as connecting a mobile phone to our Wifi network, or downloading an app onto a tablet. Some of our customers might need help accessing digital resources like search engines or our library website.
It's quite a flexible role, so you can agree on a time, date and Library that suits both you and the Library where you choose to volunteer.
