Duty Administrator
Cranleigh Library of Things duty administrator.
Help Cranleigh people to access tools and equipment that they might not be able to afford, or to store, or only need rarely. Help us to help them save money & precious resources.
As an administrator, your role will mainly be online, using our lending platform to check which items are reserved, which have been returned and listing what maintenance is needed. Some familiarity with using a computer is needed and skills in online data handling are desirable, but training is given and with our clear procedures to follow you will gain in expertise and confidence
- You would be the duty administrator for one week each month.
- It’s a flexible role which could possibly be performed from home.
- On the Friday of your duty week, ideally you would be present in Cranleigh Library to support the team as they fetch new and return used items and you would record this online in situ.
Mission Statement

In addition, we provide regular advice on how to save energy and organise monthly pop-ups to interest adults and young people in ways of responding to the various impacts of climate change.
