Museum of Farnham

Cafe Volunteer

In 2017 the Museum trialled running a Pop Up Café serving hot/cold drinks and cake in its beautiful walled garden. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with the main comment being how much it had enhanced the visitor experience. The café will return during the 2018 Easter and Summer holidays. We are looking to build a team of volunteers to assist with the running of the café and support the Front of House team.

If you enjoy working with the public, as part of a team and have high presentation standards, then this is the role for you. Our Café volunteers will take the lead in preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, as well as cake to members of the public, whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. No experience is necessary and full training will be provided. This is a truly special Museum offer and we would be delighted to hear from you if you think you can help.

Commitment Required:  The Pop Up Café runs twice a week during the Easter and Summer holidays for 3 hours a day. Time commitments will vary, but ideally we would hope for 3 hours per week.
