Looking for a placement for your Skills and Volunteering sections of your Duke of Edinburgh Award? Surrey Libraries can help - Boost your CV, increase your confidence, employment and literacy skills, have fun and make new friends!

Library tasks are many and varied – some of the ways Duke of Edinburgh students can help include:

  • Supporting library staff in keeping our libraries and library bookshops well stocked, organised and neatly presented
  • Organising a book display
  • Assisting customers with technology
  • Be a Library promoter – talk to your friends and use social media to promote library services
  • Helping out with a Digital club or the Summer Reading Challenge

Expressions of Interest for Gold level Duke of Edinburgh will be considered at any time.
