Would you like to play a crucial role in the team that continues the 90-year tradition of bringing the finest chamber music to Haslemere? 

Your skills and talents could find an important place alongside eight trustees and a further 10 experienced volunteers. 

We are a dedicated and friendly bunch and would welcome you. 

HHH is a registered charity and all trustees and volunteers are unpaid. 

Here is a brief summary of the role and the skills and experience we seek.

As Secretary / Administrator you will control the administrative processes of the charity, working closely with the Chairman and also with local external parties, e.g. church office, schools. 

The working times are of your own choosing, from home, plus attendance for about three hours for each board meeting (four p.a. plus AGM).

Specific duties include:

Supporting four board meetings and AGM: issue of agendas and papers, attending, taking minutes and producing an accurate record.

Maintaining the files of performer contracts from issuance to sign-off.

Arranging HHH bookings with venues.

Liaison with local schools where children are attending concerts.

Keeping policies updated for board approval.

Maintaining a register of volunteer contact details.

Communicating regularly with the Chairman and the Treasurer on administrative matters.

Other administrative tasks as agreed with the Chairman                                             

Skills and experience required

Good office skills including use of software for meetings (Teams and Zoom) and file management (DropBox and GoogleDocs).

Organisational capability for a virtual team with no fixed office.

Willingness to achieve planned deadlines.

And desirable attributes include:

Familiarity with the Haslemere area (HHH stands for Haslemere, Hindhead and Headley). 

An interest in supporting the community.

An appreciation of live music and its value in the promotion of well-being and the alleviation of loneliness, but no obligation to attend HHH concerts!
