Social Media support! An eco-friendly bunkhouse needs a boost
We currently have Facebook and Instagram accounts that need care and attention - are you a marketing superstar who knows how to get our barn in front of the right people?
We can provide some content but would ask for your creativity and help in generating more. Experience in previously supporting small charities or accommodation providers would be a plus.
It is important for us that the volunteer knows the barn already or is willing to visit and learn its story - this is a very special place and we believe it needs to be experienced to share its true value.
Hours can be arranged to fit around other commitments, especially if pre-scheduling posts.

Puttenham Barn is a small, eco-friendly bunkhouse on the outskirts of Guildford that represents a simpler accommodation and way of life. Sleep in a barn with mod cons, cook yourself a hot breakfast and enjoy the peace of our beautiful wildflower garden.
If you want to support this little charity and share its story so that it can thrive and survive, we want to hear from you!
Mission Statement

Puttenham Barn is run by a small environmental charity called Project Oasis North Downs (POND).
Its mission is to provide simple inexpensive overnight accommodation in a 250 year old barn, in an environmentally responsible way.
It is aimed at walkers, cyclists & people enjoying the surrounding beautiful countryside.
The Barn has many environmental features including solar panels (on its bike shed!), rainwater harvesting & local varieties of apple trees in the garden.
We aim to open at weekends, during school holidays and on as many other nights as we can between Easter & October.
