Room Guides - NT Polesden Lacey

Join a team which numbers over 400 in being part of the public face of The National Trust. As a Room Guide for the House team at Polesden Lacey you will provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to the property.  Room Guides are vital in bringing the Polesden Lacey House to life, for inspiring our visitors and helping them to learn more about the place in an interesting and enjoyable way.  Room Guides also play a valuable part in safeguarding our interiors and collections while helping to communicate key conservation messages to our visitors.

If you have an enthusiastic and friendly manner and enjoy meeting people then do consider joining The National Trust as a volunteer Room Guide.

Mission Statement

The National Trust - Our values and behaviours.

Our purpose is to look after special places, for ever, for everyone. Growing the nation's love of special places is how we do that, putting the relationship between people and places at the heart of what we do.

Our core purpose remains the same as it has been for 125 years, to bring nature, beauty and history into the lives of as many people as possible.

Our values tell us how to do this, as they guide us in our choices and influence our behaviour.

Love people and places

Welcome everyone

Think now and forever

Make it happen!
