Marketing volunteer
Would you like to play a crucial role in the team that continues the 90-year tradition of bringing the finest chamber music to Haslemere?
Your skills and talents could find an important place alongside eight trustees and a further 10 experienced volunteers.

HHH is a registered charity and all trustees and volunteers are unpaid.

As Marketing volunteer you will control the marketing processes of the charity, working in a team with the Chairman, website manager and social media volunteer.
The working times are of your own choosing, from home, with a certain amount of physical distribution of printed promotional matter in and around Haslemere. The number of concerts planned for 2024-25 is around 16 from September to April.
Specific duties include:
Planning the scope of printed matter promotion to achieve maximum exposure of the concert programme.
Identifying third parties (e.g. music teachers) who share the HHH Values of bringing live classical performance to the community.
Co-ordinating promotional materials to use the source information, photos etc in a timely and economical process.
Writing promotional text.
Recommending print media for previews/ reviews, flyers, posters and adverts , within a budget.
Widening the HHH volunteer pool of people who will help distribute in surrounding villages.
Managing the print procurement and volume for the season, mini series, one off concerts.
Monitoring value for money from printed materials.
Skills and experience required:
Good office skills including use of software for meetings (Teams and Zoom) and file management (DropBox and GoogleDocs).
Organisational capability for a virtual team with no fixed office.
Willingness to achieve planned deadlines.
And desirable attributes include:
Familiarity with the Haslemere area including Godalming (HHH stands for Haslemere, Hindhead and Headley).
Use of design software.
Speaking up for how HHH can widen its appeal and broaden its customer base.
An interest in supporting the community.
An appreciation of live music and its value in the promotion of well-being and the alleviation of loneliness, but no obligation to attend HHH concerts!
