Community Volunteer

Our Community Volunteers are vital in enabling us to continue to feed the 2.6 million children we feed every day and to help us reach the next child.
As a community volunteer, you can:
- arrange and/or give Mary’s Meals talks to local community organisations, schools, churches and faith groups to raise vital awareness and funds.
- Use your networks and contacts to book talks, stalls and events and help us share our story
- Organise fundraising events in your local area such as coffee mornings, quizzes, supermarket bag packs and bucket collections.
- Promote Mary’s Meals’ fundraising campaigns and events in your community and across their networks and contacts.
This role can work flexibly to suit your availability and other commitments. We will give you a comprehensive induction to Mary’s Meals and lots of practical support!
Thank you for helping us change children's lives.
Mission Statement
Our vision is that every child receives one daily meal in their place of education and that all those who have more than they need, share with those who lack even the most basic things. Working together with those who share our vision, we believe there is no good reason why this cannot be realised.
Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from many walks of life and different backgrounds. Our mission is to enable people to offer their money, goods, skills, time, or prayer, and through this involvement, provide the most effective help to those suffering the effects of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest communities.
