Secretary with ERTA(English Regional Transport Association)

The English Regional Transport Association (ERTA) is an organisation dedicated to improving public transport, such as railways.

We need a secretary to undertake duties such as the following:-

  • attend public meetings of ERTA in the local area (Guildford, Horsham, Redhill) and take minutes;
  • put together agendas for such meetings in liaison with other members and distribute at least two weeks prior to each event
  • write official letters as agreed by the committee to outside bodies
  • book meeting venues
  • undertake other secretarial duties as and when required.

You will need to have good IT skills, as much work will be done on-line at your home, together with an aptitude for organisation, managing people, teamwork and negotiation.
