Music Workshop Volunteer in Surrey. Leonard Cheshire and Bells Piece.

Do you know your gamelan from your glockenspiel? Would you like to use your musical
knowledge to support disabled people in music workshops?
Starting in January 2020, Leonard Cheshire has been offering bespoke creative music
workshops at centres around the Surrey area. By blending assistive music technology and
traditional percussion, we have expanded participation for people who may have limited
mobility, or other physical or learning difficulties. To support the legacy of the project, our
partners London Philharmonic Orchestra and Drake Music, have developed an online
platform featuring interactive content inspired by the workshops.
We are now looking for volunteers to support us continuing delivering these sessions,
using the online platforms and a mix of iPads and instruments. Join us to co-create a
wonderful symphony!
Support our staff to deliver music sessions using technology - or run one with your
co-volunteer.
