Film Club Volunteer
The Lantern Film Club forms part of Guildford URC's project to address loneliness and social isolation in the local community. The monthly film club is a screening of a film with refreshments and an interval to discuss the film. It is free and open to everyone.
The role involves welcoming guests, finding them a seat, making and serving refreshments, setting up and clearing away afterwards.
You will need to have a warm and friendly disposition and be comfortable in making conversation with new people.
The film club is a lovely group that enjoy getting together once a month. You will be part of a small and friendly team working in a relaxed environment, helping to improve social interaction and well-being in the local community.
