The Rural Life Centre at Tilford is based on a ten acre site which has extensive woodland and green areas as well as a an arboretum. Our volunteer gardening team look after the whole site and are kept very busy year round. We need to take on two or three extra volunteers to keep the site looking good for all our visitors. The museum has a large team of volunteers who enjoy the work and the team spirit involved with the upkeep and development of the Centre. Our volunteers have an active social program and also get free access to events at the museum during the year. Experience of using garden machinery would be helpful, but training will be given where required.
