Beaver Team Member

Join our enthusiastic 6 to 8 year-old Beavers as they dive into a world of discovery, teamwork and fun. One day you might be leading a woodland treasure hunt, and the next? Cheering them on as they proudly earn their next badge!
Team spirit is at the heart of everything we do at Scouts. By lending a hand, you're not just helping out, you’re shaping unforgettable memories and inspiring confidence in our Beavers without even realising it.
As a Beavers Team Member, you might:
- Plan a great games night
- Toast marshmallows over a fire
- Go on a bug hunt
- Organise the resources cupboard
- Work as a team to build a great programme of activities
Never been in Scouts before? No problem! You don't need any experience; we provide full, online-based training and ongoing support from our experienced teams, we cover the costs of uniform, activity expenses and all training. So, give it a go!
Mission Statement

Our goal is to prepare young people in Godalming with skills for life. We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. We given them a place to belong.
At Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills.
Every week we give 4-18 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.
Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it and given them a place to belong.
