Garden Maintenance & Witley Wellbeing Garden
Whilst our goal is to get our teens out in the gardens doing the gardening, in reality there are often bits that need doing in between sessions. If you enjoy being in the outdoors, and gardening is your ‘thing’, then we’d love to get you on board:
General garden maintenance
- This is mostly based at our Milford garden, and means keeping the garden in good order between sessions. watering, weeding and so on. There is small team and sometimes it’s nice to work together and other times it might mean popping in on your own. Our annual Open Garden is always something to work towards.

Witley Wellbeing Garden
- When we took on Witley Station House as our new head offices in June ’25, we hadn’t realised what it might become. we were encouraged to ‘adopt’ the station and have been given funding by the Community Rail Network. We now have a great team of local volunteers helping us create the Green Hub Wellbeing Garden at Witley Station, and we are getting great positive engagement with the local community. If you are local to Witley, this might be right up your street (literally!).

Mission Statement

The Green Hub Project for Teens is a local community project serving Surrey & Hampshire and surrounding areas. It supports young people (10-18) facing social, emotional and mental health challenges, along with their families and carers. In addition, Green Hub works to promote awareness and understanding of mental health and emotional wellbeing for young people in the broader community.
Green Hub’s purpose is to achieve positive, measurable outcomes for teen mental health, including self-love, active lifestyles, social interaction and inclusion, as well as the development and application of a range of learned skills. Green Hub achieves this through its Teen Garden social prescribing programme, talks and support groups within the local community, along with sharing useful information via the website.
