Surrey Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE Surrey)


Administrator 16+

As Administrator you will work with our Director on the administration of the charity including maintaining and updating our member, volunteer and donor database, data entry, tidying records, creating email newsletters, undertaking mailings, organising meetings and managing our Directors diary.  You will also be supporting our small team of volunteers with routine administration.

 We are looking for someone with the following skills:

  • A commitment to CPRE purpose, brand, campaigns and initiatives 
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Some previous experience in an administrative role – either paid or voluntary
  • Confident in use of Excel as a database tool
  • Happy carrying out tasks independently and as part of a team
  • Be able to commit to volunteering for at least 4 hours per week to suit your availability
  • Attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks to deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Have access to a computer and the internet at home and be confident using them
  • We ask that all volunteers are members of CPRE or are happy to join

The role will be home-based and we are ideally looking for someone who lives in Surrey. 

For this role we will provide a small honorarium - a token monthly payment in recognition of your commitment, and out-of-pocket expenses.   Suitable for young people aged 16 and over.
