Sayers Croft Centre  is on the outskirts of Ewhurst near Cranleigh.  It was used as an evacuation centre during World war Two.

Now we are a busy outdoor education centre and nature reserve. We have visitors, predominantly primary aged children visit from cross the South East of England, and London. For some children visiting, this is their first time in the countryside and it's a privilege to share this experience with them.

The Sayers Croft Trust was established in 1996 to support the work of the Centre and reach out to individuals and groups, who would not otherwise access our facilities, through a community programme. The Trust provides a bursary scheme to allow financially disadvantaged young people to attend the Centre .

Our mission is to provide an outdoor learning centre for use by schools and other groups at which individual's awareness of, and concern for,the natural environment is increased.

We need volunteers with a love of the outdoors and or teaching to help us deliver education and or adventure sessions. This could range from pond dipping to axe throwing. Full training is given in all sessions!

You could volunteer for as many days as wanted.

Possibility of gaining First Aid Certificate and a wide number of NGB qualifications.

Selection process- meet for informal chat.

If you are interested please click on the application form & complete & we will be in touch.
