MAN&BOY - Signal Team Volunteer role
About the Charity:
We believe when positive role models are actively present; children, families, and communities thrive. We work alongside families by encouraging men to be a mentor to the boys in their life. We offer a diverse programme of opportunities for men and boys to have fun, take part in adventurous activities together, and enhance their own and wider family relationships.
Why this role exists:
The Signal Team create content to raise awareness about what MAN&BOY does, primarily via social media. This role is designed to encourage creative, collaborative thinking to keep MAN&BOY central to discussions around issues we address in our work.
What you will be doing:
Supporting with our social media posts
Following M&B, GDPR and other relevant policies
Assisting with website/other communications
Contributing to reflection and feedback
Engaging our network with culturally relevant content
Connecting with our staff/trustees to streamline
How much time is required:
Signal Team are asked to commit to supporting a minimum weekly social media post and/or communications through our website. This is roughly 4 hours per week, with a flexible volunteering available through remote/hybrid options.

How will we support & train you:
DBS Check provided at no cost to our volunteers
½ Day (in-person) onboarding training
Access to our online volunteer portal and training
Ongoing quarterly training opportunities (hybrid)
Bi-monthly check ins with Volunteer support
Specialised workshop trainings as desired
MAN&BOY will never ask you to do anything you aren’t comfortable with.
