The BRIDGES Project is looking for adult volunteers to be trained as mentors for young people.
You must be at least 18 years old, and have a relaxed, non-judgemental attitude, being willing to spend time one to one with a young person weekly or fortnightly over a period of at least a year. This started as a partnership project between Guildford Diocese and Surrey Police and has progressed into a partnership with local secondary schools. Volunteers need to have a sympathetic view of faith but active faith is not required to volunteer with the project.
Full training will be provided, and volunteers will be subject to a current DBS check.

Our VISION is to see every vulnerable young person have a consistent, trusted and positive adult role model in their life who supports and inspires them to grow into adulthood.
Bridges Project empowers young people to take responsibility for their own lives and choices, to enable a positive impact within the local community
