Bridges Mentoring Project

Youth Mentoring - updated 12.07.2022

The BRIDGES Project is looking for adult volunteers to be trained as mentors for young people.

You must be at least 18 years old, and have a relaxed, non-judgemental attitude, being willing to spend time one to one with a young person weekly or fortnightly over a period of at least a year. This started as a partnership project between Guildford Diocese and Surrey Police and has progressed into a partnership with local secondary schools. Volunteers need to have a sympathetic view of faith but active faith is not required to volunteer with the project.

Full training will be provided, and volunteers will be subject to a current DBS check.

Please click on the 'Fill in an Application Form' button for further information or to contact us.

Please note: the period for recruiting is at the start of each school term.

Please note: the role is only Farnham based at the moment so only suitable for candidates who are local.
