Volunteer Supermarket Collector
Whether you could spare minutes or hours, days or weeks, you could make a meaningful difference to the lives of people affected by blood cancer. Make time matter and join our team as a volunteer.
We need people across the country to volunteer as Community Supermarket Collectors for us
This very flexible role can involve as much or as little time as you have and can fit around your daily responsibilities.
The position involves contacting your local supermarkets, applying for and participating in charity collections for Leukaemia Care. Feel free to bring your friends/family/colleagues along with you to help!
We will provide you with all the materials you need- letters of authority from us, collecting tins and buckets, paying in books and ID badges.
We can also provide remote training and support from our existing supermarket collectors to help you get started and answer any questions.
This is an incredibly flexible opportunity suitable for a wide variety of ages and abilities. As long as you have the passion to support Leukaemia Care and a friendly, positive attitude we would love to hear from you!
The role requires you to be physically fit enough to potentially stand and collect for 2+ hours and friendly and confident enough to talk to members of the public and say thank you to people who have donated.
We welcome applications from age 18+ and all over the country.
The role can be done in your local area so there is very minimal travelling, hence we do not cover volunteer expenses.
A personable, friendly attitude is all you need.
