Organisation Description:

Hydon Hill is a home (with nursing care), providing a range of services for adults with physical disabilities.


We are looking for volunteers to support various activities (e.g. IT support, painting, playing games, quizzes, scrabble, music appreciation, crosswords, card making, cooking, bingo etc.) and provide information,support and encouragement to the people who use our services.

Daily activities include crossword, skittles, monopoly, dominoes, scrabble etc.

Assitance is required for volunteers to be on hand, to spend time in the activities centre chatting and supporting the people who use our services by providing them with anything from casual conversation to giving them an extra pair of hands.

Fun, friendly environment where volunteers are welcomed to drop in and out.

Recruitment Method:   Informal interview.  It is required to provide 2 references and a DBS check 

Training:  Relevant induction training is also provided for the role.

Expenses:  Relevant expenses paid

Directions:  Hydon Hill is based near Godalming and has space for parking.
