For Action for Carers

In this fun, flexible role, you will be supported to undertake various fundraising and awareness raising activities which may include attending community and fundraising events, picking up and dropping off collection tins and researching opportunities.

You will be helping us make a difference to the lives of unpaid carers across Surrey and in return we provide:

Full induction, training and ongoing support. Reimbursed expenses, such as for travel. Hours to suit around your commitments The opportunity to be a part of the ACS Volunteering team.

What skills do I need?

• Well presented, with a friendly, empathetic approachable manner.

• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively.

• Trustworthy and numerate (potentially handling cash) Desirable:

• Confident in speaking with the public

• Use of own car may be desirable for some fundraising activities

• Physically able to erect gazebo, tables etc

Availability Details

This is an ad-hoc role and will be dependent on the type of fundraising role the volunteer chooses to engage with.
