G Live (Guildford)

G Live is a multi-disciplinary live entertainment, conference and hospitality venue situated at the top end of Guildford High Street.  We are anxious to actively engage with the community. G Live will not use volunteers to replace members of staff, but rather to work with our community to enhance the experiences and opportunities the venue can provide.

With G Live firmly established on the local entertainment scene, there's never been a better time to volunteer; make new friends, gain work experience and meet new people who share your interests.

We are looking for volunteer ushers to help us make sure that our visitors' experience is as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. Volunteers will act as ambassadors inside the venue and also out in the community, encouraging others to get involved. We want to actively engage with our community and welcome in those who might not ordinarily see or know about our work.

When Required - Time Flexible, Part Time

Skills 

We look for a combination of the following things:

A kind and helpful attitude

A sense of humour

A genuine interest in the arts, particularly music and/or theatre

Customer service experience

Volunteering experience

Good self presentation

Good representation of the organisation

Availability to commit to at least two shifts a month

A good team player

An advocate of the work of G Live

G Live is a live entertainment venue. With two performance spaces, the Main Hall and the Studio, we programme various events across the year, including live music, gigs, musical theatre, comedy and much, much more!
