The Canterbury Care Centre is a drop-in day facility in Guildford for adults who are mentally unwell or recovering from mental illness. We offer a social environment particularly suited to those struggling with loneliness and isolation.

On offer are social activities, a friendly atmosphere, informal help and advice, art, massage, music and physical activities.

We are currently looking for someone who enjoys arts & crafts to help us with our Arts & Crafts Group on Tuesdays between 1.30pm & 4.30pm and also a 'General helper'  on Thursdays between 9.30am & 1.00 pm.

 We need someone to socialise with our clients and to support and participate in a range of activities.

If you have an Activity you enjoy and can run, that would be great.

There is free parking and a free drinks.

The Canterbury drop in day centre runs a service for adults who are suffering, or have suffered with mental illness who live in the South West Surrey area (Guildford, Farnham, Haselmere and surrounding villages).  On offer are social activities, a friendly atmosphere, informal help and advice, creative arts and writing, massage and physical activities.  Refreshments and lunch are also provided.  The centre is open on Mondays from 10am-3pm and Thursday and Friday from 10am-1pm.  You may drop in to the centre or be referred by your GP, Social services or Guildford CMHT. A lunch is provided at low cost.
