Group Helpers (Guildford and Godalming Art Group)
We are seeking volunteers to support our Conquest Art Guildford and Godalming Group.
The group is held every Wednesdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at St Catherine's Village Hall in Guildford. The volunteers arrive around 1:40pm to set up and leave around 4:20pm to clear away. We are asking for volunteers to make a regular commitment to help either on a weekly or a fortnightly basis.
All our art groups are made up of a team of volunteers (age 18+), which have a variety of different gifts from organisational skills, artistic experience to someone dealing with the money or making the tea. The group is particularly looking for someone to share the Treasurer role and eventually take over the role. But most of all we need your enthusiasm to help create a friendly welcoming environment where members feel relaxed and able to make the most of their time with us.
The helpers set up the room with art materials and clear away at the end of each session. During the group you can provide help, guidance and artistic ideas if you can. The aim of the group is for an informal and collaborative environment in which to produce the best possible outcome for group members. Tea, coffee, biscuits or cake are usually served during the session.
Volunteers are the people who make Conquest Art possible.
Could you join the volunteer team?
