Surrey Welfare Rights Unit

Trustee Board Member

Surrey Welfare Rights Unit (SWRU) is looking for trustees to join its Board. SWRU was set up in 1990 to provide specialist support on social security issues to advisers and volunteers across Surrey. Over 55 local organisations access our daily advice line, attend training and use our information resources.

We are looking for people with strategic vision, independent judgement and a willingness to give time and commitment to be a trustee. The post of trustee is unpaid but will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction. All reasonable expenses are reimbursed. We welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Please sign up if you are interested.

SWRU is a member of Citizens Advice, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
