Lunch Money Assistant
To take lunch orders and payments Weekdays from 9.30am - 11.30am
Many Day Centres users pay for their lunches, and / or the minibus charge on arrival at the Day Centre in the morning. So the Volunteer will be responsible for taking lunch orders, collecting users money and fares, letting the Catering Team know how many lunches are needed that day and reporting on the takings to the Deputy Manager. The shift is from 9.30 am - 11.30 am approximately.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with older people and is comfortable with handling money. Training will be provided.
Ideally we would like people who are able to work on a regular basis of one shift/week. But we are also looking for people who can cover when regular volunteers are away or ill.
After a trial period, the Centre may require a DBS check, which will be paid for by the Centre.
