Green Hub Project for Teens

Community Fundraiser

As Green Hub has got bigger, our need for funds has got bigger too.  We are still pretty lean as an organisation, but we need to keep the funds flowing and relying on large trusts and funds can be precarious – they are highly oversubscribed and often come with significant restrictions on how the money can be spent.

Which is why Community Fundraising is so important – finding ways of generating cash locally that we are able to directly control. Things like running events, retail (plant sales, Christmas Cards, Raffles), community organisations and local business partnerships and donations.

Right from the start, Green Hub has been led by local business owners who understand the importance of local connections and personal contacts. So, if you’ve got experience in making connections, creating opportunities and ‘sealing the deal’ then we can give you the freedom to deploy your skills with potentially huge impact. Our hallmark has been in finding roles to fit people’s strengths and if you’d like to share your fundraising skills with us we’d be really delighted to have you in our team.

Mission Statement

The Green Hub Project for Teens logo

The Green Hub Project for Teens is a local community project serving Surrey & Hampshire and surrounding areas. It supports young people (10-18) facing social, emotional and mental health challenges, along with their families and carers. In addition, Green Hub works to promote awareness and understanding of mental health and emotional wellbeing for young people in the broader community.

Green Hub’s purpose is to achieve positive, measurable outcomes for teen mental health, including self-love, active lifestyles, social interaction and inclusion, as well as the development and application of a range of learned skills. Green Hub achieves this through its Teen Garden  social prescribing programme, talks and support groups within the local community, along with sharing useful information via the website.
