Editor - The Park Magazine, Parkinson's UK Guildford

Parkinson's UK local groups offer friendship, support, and numerous activities for people affected by Parkinson's.

In Guildford and South Surrey, the group is a core part of the local Parkinson's community.

The Editor is responsible for producing the branch magazine which is published three times a year. This involves working with other branch volunteers to identify, commission, edit and (in some cases) to write content, as well as to collate and layout copy using MS Publisher software and to liaise with the printers. An example of the magazine can be seen here: https://www.guildfordparkinsons.org.uk/documents/Newsletters/The_Park_May_2022.pdf The magazine is A5 format and usually 28 pages and is published online and in print form.
This role is flexible.  Our staff and existing volunteers will be there to support you every step of the way.
