Scouts Section Team Volunteer

Whether it’s Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Scouts, join our Section Team to help young people gain skills for life through exciting activities and adventures.
You might run a game, help with crafts, toast marshmallows, update badge records, put up tents, or just be a friendly face in the room.
Every week is different, and you’ll be part of a supportive team building a brilliant programme of activities together.
No experience needed, just a willingness to get stuck in and try something new. We’ll give you all the training and support you need to feel confident and have fun and we cover all expenses for this.
It’s flexible, rewarding, and full of moments that will make you smile.
Ready to help young people shine? Come and join the adventure!
Mission Statement

Our goal is to prepare young people in Godalming with skills for life. We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. We given them a place to belong.
At Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills.
Every week we give 4-18 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.
Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it and given them a place to belong.
