Workshop Assistant
Our very specialist innovative workshop which adapts mainstream toys so they are user friendly for disabled children, is looking for a long term volunteer to assist in assembly.
The person would need to be dexterous with an eye for detail who enjoys practical tasks. It will involve the use of hand tools and would suit someone who enjoys making things possibly with an interest in DIY or arts and crafts. It is not heavy work and full training will be given. Volunteers who have an interest or need experience in mechanical engineering may find this role particularly appealing.
