Models for Heroes

Do you have an interest in Model Making and would like to help with our Model Making Group for Veterans?  Then come and join the fun and support us and the group assisting our Models for Heroes volunteer, who facilitates the group.

If you have experience of scale model making and would like to share your interest and experience, supporting our members, this is the ideal role for you. 

You would be helping with model making and advising on skills and techniques for putting models together.

We meet every fourth Tuesday at Guildford Fire Station, 10am-1pm 

Models for Heroes provide model making advice and guidance for the Armed Forces and Emergency Services with a focus on well being.

We do have other initiatives and on-line opportunities too, so please do get in touch if you would like to find out what we have in other areas and other volunteering opportunities we have.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for volunteers with good communication skills, patience and empathy to support members and experience in scale model making.

An interest in the Armed Forces and supporting veterans would be desirable.
