Charity Shop Volunteer in Farnham (14+)
Are you keen to get some practical experience in retail? Here at Blue Cross in Farnham were looking for enthusiastic individuals to get involved with the day to day running of our charity shop. A rewarding opportunity where the profits you help generate will help pets in need. Ideally you would be interested in getting involved in a range of tasks both on and off the shop floor with the possibility if specialising in a certain area.
Some of the tasks you may be involved in :
- Preparing stock for sale
- Sorting donations
- Steaming, tagging and hanging items
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Selling products and till work
- Restocking the shop floor
- Promoting Gift Aid
- Maintaining a clean and tidy shop
What we are looking for:
- Reliable and enthusiastic individuals
- Eye for detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent people skills
- Friendly and well presented
