Horsley and Bookham RDA is a registered charity which provides facilities to benefit disabled children and young adults by having regular contact with horses. We have been operating for over 30 years giving rides to children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities in Surrey. Our riders include those suffering from Autism, Down's Syndrome, Spina Bifida and Dyspraxia.
Community fundraising volunteer
Could you use your natural enthusiasm and local knowledge and join our group to promote our RDA in the local community? This could involve placing and changing collection pots, organising a rota of volunteers for a high street cash collection, running a stall at an event, speaking on behalf of the RDA to potential supporters, attending cheque presentations or putting up posters. You would have the opportunity to organise events and engage your community in supporting us.
Expected to be a few hours a month, at your convenience you will be given all the materials and guidance you will need and support from the Trustees to help raise funds and awareness around Horsley and Bookham.
We are looking for someone with their own car, who is happy to be out and about in the local community representing our special charity.
If you are interested, then please follow the link on the top right hand corner to Fill in an application form, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
