Volunteering with 3rd Farnham Scouts
Scouting gives you the chance to be a part of something extraordinary. You'll help young people, learn new skills, and advance your education or career. But there's also plenty of fun to be had with exciting activities, new friends and lots of adventure.
At the 3rd Farnham Scout Group we are looking for volunteers to help in a number of roles working with children, youth and adults:
- Adult Helpers with the Scout Troop
- Assistant Scout Leaders with the Scout Troop
- Fund-raising committee members
- Beaver leaders to enable us to open a new colony and clear our Beaver waiting list (To Be Confirmed)
If you are interested in any of these roles, or want to find out more about any of these roles, please contact us by clicking on the “fill in an application form” button.
We are based in Farnham town centre on Long Garden Walk, GU9 7HX (Close to the UCA and behind Waitrose). We have a wide selection of up front leadership or behind the scenes volunteer roles to offer anyone interested. You will have the opportunity to enhance the Scouting experience for local young people, and have loads of fun at the same time. Come and join in.
DBS policy – we follow the Scout policy, as advised by Head Quarters, and request every adult member to submit a DBS form for processing.
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
