Surrey Youth Games Volunteer

The Games take place on the 18 June 2022 but we also have volunteering / work experience opportunities in the days leading up to the event for anyone aged 16+.

You will be thoroughly briefed on your role before the day, and who knows, based on previous years you may even end up alongside a future Olympic medal winner!

Saturday 18 June 

Meet & Greet

Welcoming participants and their families as they arrive and directing them to their activities.

8am-3pm

Activity Helper

An active role helping with the set-up and running of one of the events on offer. Ideal for young leaders and anyone wanting to develop operational sport delivery skills.

 8am-5pm

Activity Liaison Officer

A responsible and rewarding role supporting Activity Organisers manage their event. Training provided.

8am-5pm

Flexible Event Helper

If you're the sort of "I'm happy to help wherever you need me" type of person, we love you! You could be sorting out sports equipment, distributing packed lunches, getting ready for the VIP reception or directly helping young people. We promise you won't be short of something to do!

8am-5pm

Business Support

No previous experience required. Could include helping with registration, interviewing & gathering the views of participants, coordinating volunteer uniforms, distributing 2 way radios, overseeing lunch distribution.

10am-5pm
