Research : PNVE Support project

Interested in historical research ? Possibly love stories, history, and a good spreadsheet? We’ve got the perfect volunteer role for you!
Join the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) as a PNVE Project Support Volunteer and help shape the future of storytelling across our iconic properties. From the comfort of your home (or a heritage site if you prefer!), you’ll dive into fascinating facts, forgotten tales, and hidden gems, all while helping us build a centralised, searchable archive that brings our places to life.
What you could be doing:

  • Updating and editing records using our naming protocols
  • Uploading documents to SharePoint like a digital wizard
  • Helping refine and structure Property Notes that will inform how we share history with visitors
  • Joining bi-monthly webinars to connect, collaborate, and share research wins or rabbit holes out with fellow volunteers
Location: Remote or at an NTAV property
Time Commitment: Totally flexible
Reports to: PNVE Working Group / NTAV Rep

Benefits can include:
  • Contributing to a strategic heritage project
