Internship Opportunity: Australian Heritage Festival 2026
Join the team behind Victoria’s largest celebration of cultural heritage!
The Australian Heritage Festival (AHF) is a vibrant, state-wide celebration coordinated by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) (NTAV), bringing together communities, creatives, and cultural organisations to honour our shared heritage. In 2025, AHF Victoria hosted over 320 events with an estimated 55,000+ attendees, making it the largest program in the country!
We’re now recruiting AHF Interns to help deliver the 2026 festival — a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and heritage communications.
Available Internship Roles 1. AHF Stakeholder Engagement Intern

Location: Tasma Terrace, 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne
(Hybrid work options available upon application) Time Commitment: Minimum 7 hours per week, between 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

You will be one of a team of experienced employees. The National Trust is a not for profit organisation that aims to conserve Australia’s history and heritage for present and future generations. As part of the application process, we will ask you to agree to register as a National Trust Volunteer.
