Drop Off Foster
Purpose
Fosters provide service dogs in training the opportunity to gain experience in a household environment. Fosters will be required to drop off and pick up their service dog in training at the CFS facility a minimum of 4 days a week to work on their training during the day and keep them in their homes on nights and weekends.
Schedule
- Minimum 3-month commitment.
- Optional weekly training classes are offered on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00pm
Qualifications
- Must be capable of handling a service dog in training that can weigh up to 90 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be willing to travel to CFS facility for pick-up/drop-odd as needed.
