Christopher Place Employment Academy Volunteer Opportunities
Description: Are you looking for volunteerism beyond meal service?
Christopher Place Employment Academy for men is always looking for volunteers to run curriculum or help out in other ways. Workshops could include art, computer literacy, ELA, athletics, counseling, substance abuse, and cooking. Other creative ideas welcome also! Bring you skills and share with the men in the program. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Time frame: Flexible within the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday
Skills required: Must be able to type, possess excellent computer skills- Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Internet. Good record keeping, recording data in logs, compiling paperwork from ODBEC groups, & detail oriented. Ability to multi-task.
**Please note that the first step in the process of becoming a Programming Administrative Volunteer is to attend a Volunteer Orientation, which can be scheduled under "General Volunteer" on the main page**
